How fast can you actually arrive?

30–45 minutes on most calls across Toronto and the GTA, 24/7. We give a real ETA on the phone, not 'soon'.

Do you work after hours and on weekends?

Yes — 24/7. Standard dispatch runs 8 AM – 8 PM. After 8 PM, weekends and stat holidays the call goes through the same number to the on-call tech. After-hours rates are quoted up front before the truck rolls.

Question 3

Will you have to drill my lock to open the door?

Accepted Answer

No on 95% of residential and commercial calls. We pick the cylinder with standard locksmith tools — no damage to the door. Drilling is the last resort and only with your okay first.

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Full liability insurance and WSIB coverage on every tech. Certificates go to property managers, condo boards and builders on request.

Residential: Schlage, Kwikset, Weiser, Yale, Mul-T-Lock, Medeco, Abloy, Defiant. Commercial: Schlage L-series, Medeco Maxum, Mul-T-Lock Cronus, Sargent, Best, Corbin Russwin mortise locks. Smart locks: August, Yale Assure, Schlage Encode, Kwikset Halo, Level. Car keys: Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, GM, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, Nissan, Mazda, VW, Subaru — most makes 1998+.

How do I pay?

Cash, debit, e-Transfer, or credit. Itemized invoice emailed before we leave — formatted for insurance or property-management reimbursement if you need that.

How long does a lock change take?

Accepted Answer

Standard 3-cylinder house (front door, side door, garage entry) keyed alike: 45–60 minutes. Single deadbolt rekey: 15–20 minutes. New deadbolt install on a previously un-deadbolted door: 60–90 minutes.

Can you cut a car key on-site without a dealer?

Accepted Answer

Most makes from 1998+, yes — cut and transponder-programmed in your driveway. Bring proof of ownership (registration or insurance slip). Some 2018+ proximity systems and European luxury makes need OEM-only tooling and we'll tell you on the phone before dispatching.

Commercial — do you handle master key systems and access control?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Master key systems on Schlage Everest C123, Medeco Maxum and Mul-T-Lock MT5+ platforms. Standalone keypad locks for small offices and short-term rentals, networked access control (HID, Salto, Latch) for larger sites. Down-door commercial calls go to the front of the queue.
