Standard install on a pre-drilled door takes 30–45 minutes; new bore on a previously un-deadbolted door takes 60–90. Strike plate is reinforced with 3" screws into the stud, not just the jamb — that one detail stops most kick-in attacks.
We install and configure smart locks on the door, pair to Wi-Fi or Z-Wave, set up your app account, program your codes for family/cleaners/contractors, and walk you through the app before we leave. Battery-only units (August) need no wiring; powered units (Schlage Encode Plus) we test the Wi-Fi signal at the door before committing.
We carry common knob and lever sets (Schlage Plymouth, Kwikset Tustin), and order matching handlesets when the customer wants a specific finish. Sagging doors get re-hinged with 3" screws into the stud and new ball-bearing hinges if the old ones are worn.
